Im after a tree and a couple of shrubs that cope with very poor drainage?

Its at the bottom of a slope, clay slightly acidic but after heavey rain will stay waterlogged for a couple of days!

Any ideas was thinking of Liquidambar for the Tree?

There are willow trees and shrubs, some shrubs with lovely coloured bark, salix irrorata for example they don't mind clay soils
