I'm growing dwarf runner beans 'Hestia' this year for the first time. I started them in pots in the greenhouse and have now planted into deep troughs in John Innes 3 mixed with some of my own compost. Do I need to feed them, if so with what and how often?

I would start feeding when they start flowering to encourage pod production.

I would not feed right now simply water... they will need lots of space.
