Can someone confirm whether this is a type of Campanula, and if so, what kind? It is approximatley 14" tall, grown in shade, zone 5.
Thank you.

Phyteuma of some kind? Or if you are really lucky Physoplexus comosa.

Don't know what it is but as soon as it's identified, i'll be ordering a dozen for work. Love it !!!

Not a campanula as such, but of the campanula family. Something like a phyteuma, Rampion, as Owdboggy suggests.

Could well be a phyteuma Owdb. Possibly orbiculare?

In which case it is campanulaceae.

Definitely phyteuma...well it looks exactly the same as my phyteuma Phyteuma Scheuchzeri - Rampion'....just gorgeous!! much nicer than campanula!

Thank you all for your help. I believe it is likely Phyteuma Scheuchzeri. It really is a beauty!

Glad we sorted that one and, I agree, lovely - though so are some of our campanulas.
