Rose Ident (From my wedding!)
Hi all, I got married on Saturday and my hubby bought me the most beautiful roses I have ever seen. As I prefer to grow flowers than buy cut ones, I've decided to try and take cuttings of these and try to bring them on. I've found them described as "Konfetti Roses" but I can't find out much more than that - Will they grow in the Uk climate? Does anyone have a more specific name?
They are yellow with gorgeous red tips.
Thanks all in advance :)

It is a Dutch rose grown in Bangalore and this company claim to grow it. Sri Siva Sai flora & Fortuna -
"We gladly present an alluring range of Konfetti Rose to our esteemed clients. The Konfetti Rose has a combination of autumn floral colors that can create a dramatic, bold and fresh statement at a wedding. The Deep red, golden hues and bursts of orange transform a bland bouquet of Konfetti Rose into a sizzling eye-catching garland. This Konfetti Rose flower has more petals, giving the bouquet a look of depth in the hands of the bride or else for other wedding decorative purposes". There are several contact details on their site.

Next question
These will be roses, imported from places like India, where they are grown in greenhouses and exported. There are literally thousands of rose varieties though, and almost all roses will grow in the UK climate.
I suggest you contact a UK rose grower and see what is the nearest variety to the ones you had for your wedding, so you can grow them at home to always remind you.
