I have a philadelphus which has still not flowered after 4 years. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong? It is against a fence and appears healthy and full of leaves, but not one flower!!

It just might be a pruning problem. They flower best on new young growth. If it hasn't been pruned for a while try cutting back about one third of the stems later in summer to encourage new growth to flower for next year?
