Allium moly it is.

I (in my innocence back then) was given some seeds from a friend... He had a wicked sense of humour.

I think all if the seeds took, and for the next ten years I kept pulling the blighters out - After flowering, before they seeded further. I had thousands!

But they are a lovely sight in a quiet corner somewhere.
