Rust on Hypericum - Any ideas please? My hypericum has grown more prolific than ever before, presumably due to the rain but the downside is that there is an awful lot of rust colour on the lower leaves and some of these are falling off, is there anything I can do about it ?

try spraying withan anti fungal. you can buy these from the local GC. Then its just a case of waiting to see if it dries up a bit.
oh another thought, any leaves that have dropped off pop into the household rubbish bin. do not compost it in your own bin as the spores will survive unless it gets very hot.

thank you very much - think I'll need to buy huge quantities of fungicide with the wet weather we've been having!
