As moongrower says, it is a well tried and trusted variety.
Having said that, like all tomatoes, it's how you grow them that counts, so if you want a bit more help then please ask.

Yes it is. I've got two this year

I grew them in grow bags in a bedroom in a council flat when I was in my teens and didn't want to look "uncool" growing them on my balcony...... Had a smashing crop :) only ever grew them and cherry tomatoes. Bumper crops both time in containers in mums garden from the cherry toms, tumbling Tom? So I'm rather fond of moneymaker as grew so well for me, was giving tomatoes away to everyone :)

Wow - tomatoes in the bedroom!! How cool is that?

Yes, but there are a lot better tasting and cropping varieties. Talk to any discerning Tomato grower and they will dismiss Money Maker out of hand. I have a friend who grows and sells Tomato plants of all kinds as a business and he refuses point blank to grow Money Maker.

Do you know I can't even remember which tomatoes we are growing this year... will need to go and look at the labels :-) We don't grow from seed but buy from a good, small nursery that grows them themselves rather than the GCs where they are brought in.

I always grow Gardener's Delight, but I have one Money Maker plant this year, so I shall see how it compares.
