can you tell what variation of rose

from a picture. I have been tring to find out what roses we had at our wedding so I can have one in my garden. Im trying to find a close up. unfortunatly the florist we use went bust(lovely chap) they were a deep red and velvety to touch and quite compact and curled over. i hope the pic is good enough

I would suggest you go to a florist and take your photograph as they have special ones for the trade. But if not here are a couple for you to look at on the internet write in these Rose names you should have good photographs of them on there. Velvet Fragrance, Etoile de Hollande, Crimson Glory, Ingrid Bergman, Ena Harkness, and Sympathy although I doubt whether they would have put that name in a wedding boque!! If you go onto my page and look at My Garden you will see the Sympathy rose there it is lovely.

thanks for the tips peeps Ive been looking them up and I think the closest I can see would be the "Deep secret", theres so may shades and names i never thought it would be easy but blimey was a tough one
