mant thanks for your answers to my question I will have to think about cost etc before I try them.
I have another question, I recently planted two rows of dwarf beans and they were doing really well. until this wet weather, I have been down to my alottment and found two rows of dwarf bean stems and no leaves. It's slugs again! Q will they still grow or do I have to start over again?
