Alstroemeria (Peruvian Lilly)

Planted about 20 years ago. Now very thick. Some leaves a lighter green which did not flower last year. Any ideas on how to get back to fuller lot of blooms each year? Many thanks.

a good feed. if they have been growing in the same spot for that long the soil will be low on nutrients. They could also do with splitting by the sounds of it. But certainly a good feed will perk them up. in the autumn when they die down spread a mulch or in spring sprinkle with a granular feed such as growmore.
