United States

Growth habit? (rounded, pyramidal?), ultimate height? Do you think it might make it in Zone 8?

On plant Pinus

Sorry, looked in all my books and can't find Pinus Flexilis at all. If it's a new plant and you've got it, surely the label tells you its growth habit, etc? I can only assume it's a new variety and that's why it's not in my encylopaedias, or it's a recent name change.

My daughter tells me that there is lots of information about this plant on 'google' and that some people can have an allegy to it. [the plant not google lol] Welcome to GOY. I'm no expert but I've picked up quite a bit information here and everyone is so friendly and helpful.

Sorry Scottb, I replied to your question before I realised you were in the US. I'm not familiar with the numbered zones but you will still be able to get lots of information on Google. Take care.

I didn't realise you were in the US either - there seems to be a real problem with plant names in that you guys don't seem to use the same names, Latin or otherwise. No wonder I can't find it anywhere - Google might be the only answer.

How do I say thanks?
