yellow leaves on busy lizzies
By Jenjen

I have always been successful with busy lizzies. I now live by the coast and even though they are planted in pots with good drainage the leaves are yellow and the flowers not thriving. can anyone suggest why? Thanks

Sounds like downy mildew - no solution though, see www.rhs.org.uk/advicesearch/profile.aspx?PID=205

They like to be damp so perhaps the drainage is too good. are they in shade? they dont like lots of direct sunshine.
