Hiya and welcome, It might be suckers from the graft, are the leaves the same colour and size on all growth, or is the fast growing stuff paler with different number of lobes on each leaf, I think suckers have 2 extra, if it is suckers cut them off as close to the trunk part as possible, hope that's of help, if you arent sure maybe out a picture on?
