recently bought a rheum palmatum, the leaves green with crimson underside. after 2 weeks the upper side is turning red . is this normal

the plant is situated in damp site as requested in instructions.

It's fine I'd think, you've probably got Rheum palmatum atrosanguinam or rubrum, leaves flushed red. Lucky you!
