What to do I do with these found growing wild in a damp and shady part of my garden in amongst some shrubs and flowers?

Probably not a lot. The weather this year has produced a lot of fungi. Only this morning I some growing in a lawn on an old tree stump. If there is a dead tree there check for honey fungus (black shoe lace type structures under the bark) although this is not likely.

I just leave them be, on the principle that disturbing them may just spread spores. They don't seem to do any harm.
