Pyrus salicifolia leaves being eaten by something!

I bought a pyrus salicifolia one month ago and planted it two weeks ago. Most of the leaves appear to have been eaten - there are just a few full leaves left and the remains of the others. Any ideas about what could be doing this - there is no evidence of anything on the tree or leaves. Is there anything I can do?

It and you may catch the villains at\worklooks as if those responsible have nearly finished the job.. but try checking once it is dark
