Why is my choisya ternata sundance not flowering

I have two of these plants in different parts of the garden getting sunshine and shade, but alas no flowers. About 2 1/2 feet tall at the moment

That's surprising as they're usually so reliable for flowering in the spring.
Is your soil good? You could try giving it a feed although probably a bit late now. The flowers are nearly over.
I'd give it a good mulch in autumn/winter then a light prune and a good feed in early spring next year.
