Please identify this

a small quite fleshy plant, sent over from mums friends. Shes away so cant find out for 2 weeks what it is, Im dying to find out sooner so plaese help. Its about 6cms wide as you can see its tipped with a bright orange. Currently sitting in multi purpose compost, moist as I presume it needs it. Seem happy enough been there for about 3 days now and the roots are taking

What a really lovely plant. Its so lovely I can almost smell it's scent. Wow!!!!! Can it be bought here in the UK?

I think it it might be an Echevera or a sempervivum, but would have to google it. I

Ive just googles all the names mentioned and I think that it may be the Echevera, Ive got a pic of a sedum but didnt have this from tiny so wouldnt know what it looked like
am starting to swing towards Echevera

go more for sempervivum, i have this in a terracotta pot and rarely water it. it has a gorgeous orange, yellow tipped flower.

just been trying to read up on these, Im not sure I understand how they make babies?
as they turn from male to female themselves? so hard to self pollinate!

Don't let it stay too wet, Moonkins. It is a Sedum, related to the cactus family so doesn't ming getting a bit dry occaisionaly.
