Bleeding Hearts

Lancashire, United Kingdom

After the plant Bleeding Heart has flowered, What is the next procedure-- Do you cut them down , divide them? or what

Answers

You can leave them alone - they die back by July, leaving a rather unfortunate bare patch in the border....!

I've just planted a Phygelius really close to my Dicentra. Hopefully, the drooping (ish) stems and drooping flowers will fill the gap.

It'll come back next year bigger and better though. :o)
