hi , i have wee red ants all over my lillies ,they appear to be having a feast , i hate using sprays or any insect repellant , does any one know how i can get rid thanks

are they actually ants or lily beetle, which are bright scarlet. if they are eating your plants then they could well be lily beetle. do you have greenfly on your lilies? ants 'farm' them to get the sugary 'honeydew' waste they produce. google lily beetle images and see if you have a match.

hi and welcome if they are ants try baby powder on them when the weather is dry.they dont like the scent in it.other than that good luck.
