Help Identify me

This one has been with me for about 2 years. It has a rather tree like appearence but the leaves coil down. Any suggestions on what it is would be highly appreciated, all I know is that it likes to drink a lot!

I should have said pony tail palm, this one looks like it is the one from Guatemala which is called the red pony tail palm.
There is another variety from Mexico which has straighter leaves called beaucarnea recurvata or the same (Mexican) plant is also known as nolina recurvata.
The other common names for this type of plant are elephant's foot palm or bottle palm.
They are actually not palms at all though.
