potatoes

My potatoes are happily growing and we've been covering them up as instructed. The grow bag they are in is nearly full. How long do you leave them to grow before harvesting?

Dont try picking them untill the flowers have gone over or they will be inmature and tastless.

Hi Jammar, this depends whether they are earlies or main crop. Earlies you can harvest from mid June whilst main crop around August time. A good sign is when they flower. We've just about stopped earthing our tatties up now, though the ones in the drills could get ridged again it I remember.
