brown patches on lawn

was there any grass left on from when you cut it last week? do you have pets? have you had any pots or something sat on it recently

...or did you cut it too short? have you had a really dry spell of weather. A good soaking (rain or hosepipe) might help if it's lack of rain or pets using it as a toilet.
I hope it soon recovers.

I did leave some grass on, as my mower does not have a box, but that happens all the time and have never had this problem before, dont think its a water problem, but dont know what else it could be
