Will my wisteria recover
By Dominica

The wisteria has been established for many years and it has flowered and had leaves in abundance in the last 5 years that we have had it. However we are in a frost pocket and it started to bud as normal but then only a very few branches came to anything; I can not see any signs of this new disease. Does anyone know if it may recover next year?

Hi! I think you've answered your own question! I've read that this can and does happen, buds start to appear, then drop off. It is the frost, sorry! But take heart, it'll be fine next year. Don't forget this winter was the coldest for 18 years!
