Sick Passion flower

I planted what appeared to be a healthy Passion flower in the garden after nurturing it overwinter in a pot in a cool place. After hardening it off I planted it out in the garden. Almost immediately the outer parts of each leave turned white and started to droop. I could not see any insect infestation, but the leaves have all dropped off now. Leaves have appeared at the top of the plant which seem OK, leaving the bottom half bare. Any suggestions as to what has happened to the Passion flower? This is the first time I have grown this climber.

Well it's gone into a bit of a sulk for some reason. If the growth at the top is healthy and continuing to grow well, you could chop it down a bit to encourage new shoots lower down, unless you don't mind all the growth higher up.
