Can I use the space between my Asparagus rows?
By Lovemyveg

In April I planted a new Asparagus bed, with two rows and 3 ft in between the rows. With this huge gap going to waste, can I plant something in between whilst the Asparagus is settling in? I wasn't thinking of any root vegetable, but something with shallow roots that would produce something good to eat.

Thank you all so much for your replies this has been helpful. Excellent link given by Mookins, I shall bookmark this to use again. I have radish, spinach and lettuce seeds and some tomato plants, so I can take my choice of which to grow.
