How to eradicate mushroom/toadstool type fungi
from growing in my lawn.
P.S It is not a fairy ring.

Answers
You can't - the main part of the plant is small white fibres under the ground and the mushrooms are just the fruiting body. You can either pick them or leave them - as DRC says they don't usually last long.
