I would be grateful if someone could ID this plant for me please. I'm ashamed to say that it is in my garden, but I CANNOT remember its name.

Looks like Ligularia dentata only the leaves are a very pale green for that. Perhaps growing conditions. If it goes on to have largish open yellow flowers, then that's what it is.
My first thought was it might be Rheum palmatum, but I can't see from the photo if the stems are coming up from the ground like rhubarb, its 'sister' plant.

Thank you both. The leaves LOOK pale green because of the sunshine, but are actually mid-to-dark green. I'd better Google Ligularia and see . . .
