why has my cupressus wilma started to die off

I have six cupressus wilma trees and one of them has started go go very brown its not wind burn as the other 5 are all healthy and they are protected by a fence.I do have 2 small dogs that do wee in the garden from time to time but not on the trees.should i lift out the tree and could i raplace another 1 in its place regards A WALMSLEY

I don't know the reason but I have seen many, apparently, healthy cupressus die off in the last few years. Something that makes me sad & intrigues me. The dog won't affect it.
