I personally doubt any plants, animal bits etc etc are actually aphrodisiacs. If you were told that mint tea was an aphrodisiac and you believed it then it would work for you! Same goes for most drugs the placebo works just as well as the headache pill - because you believe it will.

The question states that it is concerning the plant Epimedium , and if you click on the highlighted word Epimedium in his/her query, then the GOY Genus: epimedium page does say it is considered an aphrodisiac. Not sure who wrote that though.

Gosh I would never consider Epimedium to be an aphrodisiac - but then I stick with my statements above :-)
