Hi, can anyone help me identify my Begonias please!

I bought some begonia tubers and small plug plants. I thought they were all trailing but now think I might have some that should have gone in pots and not in my window boxes, as at the moment they look like cabbages and the ones I have in pots have started to flower and look as if they might be trailing. Is it too late to transfer them from pot to windowbox?

Move them, do it carefully, conserving as much root as possible, and make sure they've had a good soak so the soil's wet before you do it, rewater in their new positions. They'll be fine.

It's all in the skill of the fingers, isn't it.

Many thanks for your help. I have moved them today and 'fingers crossed' they still look ok. I will have to remember what are trailing and what are upright begonias next time!

Begonias have quite small root systems. I would say that if the plants are fully developed then they might not transfer all that well. But if they are 'fairly well' developed, but not actually 'fully' developed, then they might still be happily moveable. I wonder what others think? I have both types myself this year.
