my orange tree navelina flowered then started to produce small oranges but they have all fallen off - its a very healthy plant and I have followed all the instructions so I cannot understand why it is not producing fruit

Orange and lemon trees like brightness, hot sun and higher night temperatures than we've been having here. If you're serious about getting oranges, they'd need to be in a glasshouse or conservatory - you don't say where yours is growing. And did you keep it well watered once the fruit had formed?
