I want to revamp my flower beds in the autumn ready for next year. I have many tall plants & shrubs towards the back of the beds, but I am looking for some low growing (no more that 12 inches high) perenials that have a long flowering season. I hope to get some of the lovely pink geraniums, but has anyone any ideas for anything else?

Many of the campanulas grow no more than 6-12 inches tall ,are evergreen and flower for several weeks.

I agree with drc726 heucheras are good, so are hardy geraniums, and can give a long flowering season, there,s the perennial viola, and erigeron karvinskianus dasiy, which is lovely and flowers till the frost
