Thanks for the sweet William answers.
I will cut them back i think, i was wanting to use the space they were in, i will have to find a alternative place.
Has any one experienced the problem with those retched slugs, i have been feeding them with Dahlia plants.
No show this year i am afraid.

Even in pots I had to put slug bait down and found five dead snails in just one pot! Feeding them with dahlias is right.
