I've just bought an Euonymus Sachalinensis at a MacMillan Cancer fair. It is about 30" x 30". Can anyone tell me how it should be cared for? I live on the west coast of Scotland close to the sea - is it resistant to salty winds? Thank you. Marjorie Falconer

I looked this up for you. It grows to be a small tree and has lovely red berries in autumn. As it loses its leaves in winter you'll stand some chance of it avoiding the worst of the winds, but the books give any info on resistance to salt. Good luck with it - looks a good one.
