One of my azaleas is in a tub in a sunny position. It has flowered well, has healthy leaf growth generally apart from a number of deformed leaves, pinkish white & puffed up, close to the centre of the bush. Destroy? Cut back? Spray?

Many thanks, Bamboo.
The symptoms match the description of Azalea Gall. Have removed affected leaves and burnt them. Will try a fungicidal spray to eradicate & protect my other bush. There's plenty of ventilation & sun out back - at least there is when it's not raining!

Plenty of fungal spores and rain and not much sun up to now this year, let's hope we get a bit of an indian summer...
