As with planting for the first time, it is best moved in winter when dormant. November to March is the safest. Take a large root ball with it, dig a hole big enough to take the root ball easily and water the hole well before replanting. Keep it well irrigated for a few weeks but make sure it is not soggy or it may rot off before it re-establishes itself in its new position. If it is fruiting already then you may get very reduced or even no fruit in the first summer.
