Patio planning. I would like to know the best product to put on my new patio. I have paving bricks, but moss grows all round. I thought of Indian stone, but evidently they get quit dirty and are difficult to clean. Somebody suggested porcelain out door tiles, but I haven't seen them down. I am getting older and am on a mission to cut down in maintenance. Can anybody help. The tile shop is all for it.

We have the Indian stone slabs and they are no problem at all.

Outside floor tiles are slippery in winter and overtime, so would avoid in our weather. Paving bricks work fine and you can treat them to stop moss growing (that actually is a symptom of poor drainage - so there should be a slight slope away from the house to stop that). I would go for the brick as you already have it, make sure it is laid perfectly and treat it will moss killer and a clean every so often. Indian stone would look expensive and better IMHO.

Have just had indian stones laid. Look great, you can also seal them 8 weeks after they have been laid after you have pressure washed them first.
