Please can you recommend a climbing plant that flowers and does not shed its leaves that will do well in a container? The environmental conditions are: a small, sheltered terrace garden, a west facing wall, direct sunlight for approx. 5 hours a day.

As Andy jeavor says, Trachelospermum jasminoides would be my choice.

I have an evergreen climbing Honeysuckle that has lovely white flowers.

I am guessing you mean a flowering evergreen climber!
