Honeysuckle
I bought this small Honeysuckle Halliana in June, with few leaves, the buds opened to new leaves, and I kept it in the frame, with the top open. It then developed mildew and has been outside ever since, and well looked after, what is the cause of this and will it be prone to mildew in future.

« Asphodeline lutea. A simple question. Is it monocarpic? all mine flowered this year...
Next question
Mildew on Lonicera is a sign of dryness at the roots. L. halliana is a robust plant which is not really suited to pot culture. Plant it out, keep it moist at the roots and it should be ok. A fungicide would also help for next season, Rose Clear type.
