I've just bought an Aktinidia kolomikta plant, and the label says it gets its pink leaves when it's 'mature'. Could anyone please tell me how long that's likely to be?
Thanks.

From what I recall, the leaves carried the pink and white from the word 'go'. The only year it didn't was when we had a late frost and all the young, emerging leaves were killed and the subsequent ones stayed green all season.
One to thing to note with actinidias - cats love rubbing against them and can kill a young plant. A guard of rigid plastic round the bottom foot or so will give it protection.

Thanks for that, both of you - at least I won't be in my dotage before I get to see those pretty leaves! :-)
We haven't got a cat, but the farm cat sometimes pays a visit, so I will protect it, Andrew. Thank you.
