hibiscus in large container outdoors in sunny position rarely flowers. Flowers tend to die off without opening. I am thinking of giving up with this plant. I feed it phostrogen. Any help would be appreciated.

Hardy hibiscus should be grown in a moist but well drained soil, with neutral - alkaline ph, they also flower better in long hot summers, which this year has definitely not been, so maybe better luck next year, fingers crossed, Derek.
