pepper plant

Hi all I have just bought myself a lovely green and red peppers plant and wondered if its best to plant it in a pot or actually in the garden? Does anyone know if they ever die off like most plants for a period of time? I'm really new to all of this so any sound advise will be really helpful.

if its a food plant, it'll be fine outside for the summer, but once it's produced it's fruit, it won't survive the winter. Either in a pot or the ground, whichever's easiest to keep watered.

Probably will, but may not produce fruit in time for the fruit to set fully. feed and water it to help it cope and fence it off!

I don't know what you mean by a pepper plant - do you mean a food plant, like a chili pepper or a capsicum pepper?
