no i havent put it in there as of yet, i wanted to see what people thought first, just its pot bound and thought it would save a pot, ill just get a bigger pot instead of risking it, cheers Bigbumblebee

i grow sweet peas with mine as they encourage pollinators in for my beans too.

with sweet peas do you actually get a pea from them or is it just flowers,i love the flowers but what are they, as in perennials or something you have to plant year after year

i grow annual sweetpeas and i remove spent flowers all the time. the peas you get are not edible. i leave the ;ast few flowers on to get free seed for next year.

is it too late to start growing sweet peas. They have a lovley flower. when do you plant them?

ive seen them around as plugs in shops etc so id imagine its still ok to grow them, will they climb a trellis? where my clematis seemed to die off is looking empty so thought maybe i could grow sweet peas up it instead

its too late to grow sweetpeas from seed now. buy plug plants and plant now. and yes they will climb a trellis no trouble.

If you've put your strawberry plant in amongst the runner beans it will get smothered by the bean foliage. Strawberries need plenty of light.
