Well, if you are off to Clacton, you must visit Beth Chatto's gardens at Elmstead Market. Enjoy your break!

Hi,
If you check out the box at the bottom of the page you'll find a link for 'gardens to visit'. Failing that check out the Yellow Book 2009, it's full of wonderful NGS gardens all over the country, www.ngs.org.uk.

If you ever find yourself in Bristol pass by 'jungle jens' at 'Jen's Gardyn', we've just opened for the NGS for the first time this year, you'll find us in the Yellow Book.

Enjoy your break!

Mookins - down at the bottom of the page is 'Gardens to visit'. If you go to that page, there's a list of gardens with comments by people who been to these gardens.

Mookins - not only does Beth Chatto have a wonderful garden, but the Nursery attached has GREAT plants at good prices!!! I've been there twice and it is bee-you-ti-ful...

Also, there's an RHS garden 'Hyde Hall' in Essex. I am trying to get a visit there planned. Another for your list??

definatly go there then but will have to make it at the end of hol as no where to store the plants

Hyde Hall looks fab and wheelchair friendly too.
