A helping hand

While digging up the grass and clearing the rubble in my beds I had a bit of help from a friendly neighbour.
Meet Robin
With a family to feed, he’s a dab hand at picking up the tidbits I left for him

She/he looks very tame, isn't it lovely to have company when gardening. I have a very friendly blackbird who obviously has many mouths to feed, she hovers near me when I'm digging and has made off with very many huge beakfuls of wriggling worms. Not my idea of a feast! Yuk

Robins and Blackbirds are very brave when it comes to picking titbits when you are gardening, I have had many a blackbird sat next to me waiting for me to dig up a worm.
