Been working this plot for almost 20 years but there's always something more to do. Urban garden on Kent/Sussex border about 115' long,gradual slope up away from house, enclosed on all 3 sides by other gardens. Slowly eliminating the clay, but on the plus side the frosts are not too bad. Majority of garden terraced and trellised and planted with herbaceous perennials and shrubs, although I have just started growing selected veg in a sunny spot. Also have a couple of man-made ponds with fish in one and tadpoles and newts in the other.
