Just boasting

I just spent an idyllic half hour in my garden:
Unusual warm sunshine after the recent cold stormy rain;
Scent of ‘old-fashioned’ blue/purple sweet peas;
Birdsong – robin, great-tit, mallard; a spotted flycatcher on the viburnum;
Ever-present sound of the river;
A butterfly lands on my hand;
I complete a “fiendish” sudoku;
That’s all!

I have been out in the garden all day to day, butterflies, hover flies, bees, and the cat and frog he he , lots of sun but no rain, nor no sound of running water sadly :( you sounded as though you enjoyed the little bit of summer we have left, hope its a nice day for you tomorrow.

Hope you get some of it Lily, at least you can get little jobs done or sit out side and relax.

I guess it was a notional half-hour, Lily. Sorry the sun didn't shine on you today, it was an unexpected surprise here.

It truly does sound idyllic, what a shame you only had 1/2 hour there. Did you really manage to complete a fiendish Soduku in 1/2 hour?
