cuckoo and grapefruit

what time !! are you mad ?!! i was out digging rubble from the front garden till 8pm and now having trouble moving..... have a nice day :-) ps the grapefruit looks inviting tho your probably on lunch now and its only 9.15 !

I use to like my grapefruit cut in 1/2 sprinkled with cinnamon sugar and lightly grilled, have you tried it? delicious.

I hadn't noticed the time was on the pic. It was an hour later than that when I posted it. I got up at 6.30am - very unusual for me I don't make a habit of it! .lol. I haven't tried it grilled with cinnamon sugar Drc726. I may try that tomorrow but quite probably much later on in the morning ;-) Thank you all for your comments.

Not up quite that early but about 40 minutes later when the grandson came in to wake me coz Nanny was going to work! Cheers Jac:0)

Richard, the GC is just too much of a pull. We went to get a couple of bags of manure to turn over in the veg patch as we're planting there this week but ended up with pots, plants, more pots, seeds, a watering can for the grandson and.....oh, more flowers!

It sounds as though you had a great time at the GC Dan. I am the same when I go there as I always come back with more than I went out for. It is so easy to get carried away. I have planted a marigold mixture in my spare guttering and have some trailing lobelia in the shed waiting for it to germinate :-)

Having a week off, I decided to have a very rare and out of the norm lie-in this morning. Ali is working until about 9.30am and then we were quickly nipping out to town to drop a cheque in the bank and have me an eye test. I have a small skip being delivered this afternoon so I though, perfect oppo for a doze on........WRONG!!!

7.30am and the skip lorry is reversing onto my front lawn! Good job it woke me as he was dropping it in the wrong place!!! Ah well, at least we haven't got to rush now the rest of the day to be back:0)

One day......you mark my words......one day!

I ate the two halves of the grapefruit yesterday Hywel it was tasty too. I am having the other one this morning. I am the only one who likes grapefruit here so we just bought two last week. I haven't had one for ages and forgotten how refreshing they were.
I think I would be rather awakened by a cuckoo than a skip lorry Dan, though I would prefer neither out of choice. Lucky you noticed him dropping off the skip -in the wrong place. Have a nice week 'off' -although it sounds like you have a bit of work on there in filling up the skip!
